Would you continue to date someone who cheated in past relationships?

I'm just curious. Everyone has a past. When you date someone, they're not going to come out & admit "yeah, we broke up because I cheated" 
.....,but if by chance you found out that the guy/girl was unfaithful in any past relationship, how would you feel?

When my husband and I first started dating, he admitted he had cheated in a previous relationship. By all accounts it was a toxic relationship, and when they finally broke it off he went into therapy. He still sees the same therapist. He knows what his triggers are and he knows how to communicate. I have absolute trust in him. 
I can't change his past, and I love him knowing his past. He trod a path - on that path he made mistakes, he recognised his mistakes, he improved himself, he grew, and we found each other. 
Would I continue to date a cheater who made no effort to change or thought cheating was OK? No thanks.

I’m currently in a 3 year relationship with a man who let’s say wasn’t a very good partner in his past relationships 😳 
He was open and honest with me and told me he was young and stupid and when he looks back he wasn’t ready for a relationship or to settle down. 
He was 30 when I started talking to him so this all happened in his 20s he knows what he did wasn’t great and a lot of people got hurt due to his actions at the time and I happy he was open and honest about his past relationships when the topic came up. 
Nobody is perfect 🤷‍♀️ and I understand that! 
I know a lot of people will judge him on his past if it was them but i trust him completely and I was glad of his honesty.
Just do what ever makes you happy life is too short 👍🏻

Well they better not lie to me about their past in the first place! 
But I understand that cheating can be really circumstantial and complex, I think it depends on how they think about it and what exactly happened. 
That's the past. If I know I can trust my partner in the present, that's really all that's relevant. 
Once a cheater doesn't mean always a cheater, some people learn harsh lessons.

My ex husband cheated on me and threw it in my face constantly before our divorce was final. After that I told myself I’d never date someone who had cheated in any previous relationship, but I was hurt and traumatized from the whole thing and I thought that would be the best way to protect myself from that happening again. Now that it’s been a few years my views on it are a little different. If it was someone who cheated in a previous marriage then absolutely not because I will never understand how someone can cheat on the person they vowed to be faithful to, and to be by their side for better or worse. If they cheated in their high school or college relationships then maybe, but it would depend on the situation.

I don’t see why not , no one is perfect and people make mistakes some learn from their mistakes and some don’t but if you truly love , trust and wanna be with that  person then their past shouldn’t be a problem because it’s who they are now that matters.

I voted before I fully read the details. Hmm I would appreciate it more if they were honest from the beginning parts of the relationship. I get what happened before me is not my business…
If I were already deep into the relationship and they were truly loyal and I trusted them then I wouldn’t hold it against them. I feel that even though people have shitty broken pasts, over time they can grow from it. It also takes a strong partner to accept that person and help build a trusting, strong relationship. Although if they had just cheated not too long ago and they weren’t matured from the situation then I’ll pass…
