Right so I've been offered by a midwife today a sweep the day before i get induced, has anyone had this done before and what was the outcome? Can you go into labour if you have the sweep done?

I hope it works so I can avoid getting induced, she did explain how it works but I forgot half of it now & any advice for getting this sweep done or for induction which is next week? Starting to get scared now and don't know what to expect 😕
