Am I preeclamptic? I’m not getting answers
I’ll be 28 weeks pregnant on Wednesday, 9/22. For the last three weeks I’ve had a severe migraine that has sent me to the ER and labor& delivery at least twice a week since. Along with the migraine, I’m having extreme nausea that’s caused me to lose 10 pounds in a week, dizziness, blurry vision, light spots in my vision, and occasional readings of high blood pressure. The high blood pressure can happen when I’m doing simple tasks such as walking from my car to my doctor appointments and it’s 150/80+. I’ve been monitored and tested for preeclampsia but my doctors SWEAR it’s not and that’s it’s a neurological issue.
I recently found out through an ER I had protein in my urine at one of my doctor appointments that I was never told about.
When my blood pressure is being monitored at the doctor it’s within normal range, which I’m relieved about, but isn’t it concerning how high my blood pressure gets when I’m only walking?
I feel like I’m being shrugged off by my doctors and I’m not getting help I need. I’ve progressively gotten worse to the point I can’t leave my bed and constantly have a pounding headache/nausea 24/7.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar? If it’s not the onset of preeclampsia, then what is it?
