A little back story my husband deployed to Afghanistan for 8 months in 2013, he left the marine corps in March of this year.  Shortly later one of his best friends lost his battle with PTSD and committed suicide.  I found out in a matter of weeks we were expecting our third, we prayed and hoped for a boy so we could honor him with our very good friends name.  Well it's a girl and his friends name is Adam, so no way of converting that into a girls name.  After much time we agreed on Adira (A-DEER-A) so for a middle name I thought about doing our friends moms name, they were extremely close and always said he would name his daughter after her.  His mothers name is Maria, so my husband doesn't think Adira Maria sounds right?!?
