Postpartum pads suggestions?

I am 35 weeks pregnant and working on getting things ready for postpartum. It seems the most popular pads for postpartum are Always Discrete. I’m not so sure these would work well for me however. I have not used Always brand pads since I was 13 as I was allergic to something in them and they made me break out in rashes. 
What were your preferred pads or items for bleeding/ pain?

I just took a whole bunch of the mesh undies and giant maxi pads they give you at the hospital and used those 🤷🏻‍♀️😆

I am sensitive to most pads but did well with the amazon brand pads.

The Honey Pot postpartum pads sold at Target. Thinner than the Frida pads but as absorbent. I also liked Depends- pad and disposable underwear all in one. I would use the Frida witch hazel foam and liners with all the above options.

I’m really sensitive to period products (So I usually use a diva cup) so I got the Seventh Generation overnight pads for postpartum and they worked really well for me. No bleaching, fragrance or other chemicals and they’re nice and big. 
Definitely yoink all the mesh undies you can from the hospital
But I found I wanted to wear disposables until my bleeding slowed significantly so I used the Frida disposable underwear. They have high waisted ones that were super comfy even with my c-section incision.

I’m also allergic to Always. I used big Stayfree overnight pads with the Frida disposable underwear for daytime and Tena adult diapers for night time. Worked great for me ☺️.
