When can I start using tampons after a yeast infection?

Hi everyone,

I just finished my 3 day treatment for my yeast infection on Monday but ended up starting my period on the last day of treatment. I’m still on my period and i was wondering is it okay to use tampons now? I’m not having any more itchiness or any more discharge so i’m assuming my yeast infection is gone as well.
