I didn’t expect my hair to be blonde as I have dark hair and know that’s just not possible, and I know I need to tone it, but can someone assure me that I’m doing it right? I have/had virgin and it’s taken me a lot just to put something in it.

This is how it looks now (doing half black and half purple) and I plan on using a blue toner on it once I feel it’s healthy enough. Then I’ll dye it after a few more days.

Should I be okay?

Edit: I followed his video on it 😭 I’m just really hesitant on bleaching my hair again since I don’t want to damage it too much. And the purple is going to be pretty dark, nothing terribly vibrant.
