Have you spotted light brown or pink in your first trimester?

I’ve been having random little light brown gloops or smears these last two weeks and today I called my OB because I went to pee and I had light pink on my tissue after wiping. Doctor says I’m fine and it’s normal. But I need the peace of mind! Can you please be honest? Thank you 😊

With my first child I spotted brown/pink/red.. u name it throughout my entire first trimester. I even had 2 different times of bright red gushes (sorry tmi).

I spotted for 3 days when I was 8 weeks, started off dark brown then got lighter. I did go to the ER just to be safe and make sure the baby was okay. Thankfully we were both doing well. Doc said if you’re bleeding more than a pad full or have cramps/back pain then it should be concerning. Just to be safe see if you can get an ultrasound done!

I spotted throughout the entire 1st trimester with my 1st who just turned 21 months old.  I had both brown and pink. The cervix is super vascular during pregnancy and gets irritated easily. Sex, straining with a bowel movement, cervical exams, etc. can all make you spot.

I did with my first son, turns out I have a subchronic haematoma -an ultrasound picked it up. I would ask for a second opinion for peace of mind mama x

An update! It’s gone away! I am 12 weeks and no bleeding at all. Doc said it happens as the uterus stretches….. good luck to all the mamas! Make sure to see the doctor when anything happens and it makes you feel uneasy ❤️
