Rape for your first "sexual" experience?

Question

This is kind of a niche crowd I'm trying to ask, but for those of you who were raped for your first "sexual" (I put sexual in quotation marks since rape isn't truly about sex) experience do you consider it your "first time"?

Or even if you haven't, would you consider it to be someone's first time?

I don't mean to offend anyone, it's just something that's been on my mind lately.

I was raped at 16 years old. The first time I had sex was at 17 years old. One full year later. I don't count that a-hole. He doesn't have control over me anymore.

I wasn't raped but I had been sexually assaulted for years by a family member. I don't qualify it as my first sexual experience since I didn't want it to happen and it was forced upon me.

I was raped at 8 and again the day before my 13th birthday, then I willingly had sex with my boyfriend a little before I was 14.
I do not count abuse as my first time.

Nope. I was raped when I was 9 and that most definitely was not me "losing my virginity" it was me being raped. However, I did have sex for the first time about 4/5 years after that.

When you're a victim of sexual assault, all control is taken from you in those moments, so I believe that ALL the control should go to you during your healing process. If you don't count it, that is a 100% your right, true sex is consensual. If you got pregnant as a result of the assault (or for whatever other reason) you may not feel like you can say it didn't count, and that's your right as well. I don't think it's an outsiders place to label a victim, I think it's our place to lift and support them and follow their lead.

No it's not, though it  feels like you were robbed of something - to this day I do, it wasn't my first, my first was with my husband.
