How do people feel about America sending Haitian refugees back to Haiti?

Currently, more than 10,000 Haitian refugees are in a refugee camp and are being flown back to Haiti. The US states that they must be sent back for health reasons, but the refugees have been waiting for processing. There are reports and video of abuse, including border patrol on horseback threatening* (previously stated: whipping*) the refugees, and families who are scared for their safety if they are made to return to Haiti. Many have claimed they believed they were being flown to other parts of the US for processing, and were surprised to find that they’ve been sent back to a situation they fled. Some of them fled years ago.

*Updated: they did not use whips but reins to chase or charge at refugees.
