When to start buying stuff?

So I am at a loss as to when I should start buying stuff. I have bought some newborn clothes but when should I think of nursery items.  He comes the 21st of march..... thoughts much needed!

I'm due 28th of March, but I'm planning to buy stuff at the beginning of 3rd trimester, maybe January. In meanwhile I'm checking up for sales 😁 at least for the big stuff as the crib, stroller...

We bought little bits here and there starting in the second trimester so that we could spread the cost out and take our time. It was really nice to take it slow and be able to buy things secondhand/when they were on sale.

We started buying stuff when I was 10 weeks. I’m now 16 weeks and we have everything except for small stuff and baby clothes. Baby is due March 10th.

We are giving our registry to family before black Friday! And we plan on getting some of our bigger items then unless they go on sale in the mean time.

I found out at 7 weeks and started buying stuff immediately 😂 I haven’t bought anything new though. There was a local thrift store closing and everything was 75% off already low prices so I bought all the decent newborn boys and girls clothes. Bought momaroo swings for around $70 on facebook market place. So many garage sale finds too!

I’m due 21st as well!!! 
With my first (he’s now 3 and a half) o started buying around 10 weeks and just carried on picking bits and bobs up all the way through. So far for this little one I have bought nothing, but I do have a lot of things I’m using from when my son was born. I plan to start buying more when I know the sex 😊

We have only bought our crib (I’m due March 6) but we really only did that because it was finally in stock and I didn’t want to chance having it be out again for too long. My husband really wants to wait and put a lot of big things on our registry/Christmas lists but I am not super stoked about having to buy them around Christmas time if they aren’t gifted… still trying to compromise 😊

My sons also due the 21st! So far I’ve bought a couple outfits but mostly his nursery furniture since that takes forever to deliver. Crib, changing table/dresser, nightstand, glider, wall decor, lamp etc.
