What to expect at 6-7W ultrasound?

Question

What can I expect from a ultrasound at 6W6D (pretty sure they will change it to 6W2D based on ovulation). Will I hear heartbeat? I’ve only ever gone in at 8-9W so not sure what to expect. Thanks!

I had one at 5w and saw just a sac, then one at 7w where we saw the little baby t-rex and heartbeat. It's possible! It's early days though so I wouldn't bet on it 100%, or be alarmed if they can't see much.

With my second we had the ultrasound at 6+1 and were able to see a little shrimp baby with a heartbeat. With my third we had an ultrasound at what ended up being exactly 6 weeks and saw nothing except an enlarged uterus. They probably won't change your due date if it's only off by 4 days, though.

I went in at 7w0d and while we could see the heartbeat, we didn't get to hear it.
