Anyone toddlers scared of rediculous things?

They had this pillow at are local Walmart and my daughter wouldn’t go anywhere near it and clung to me. I get why she’s afraid of the Halloween stuff but not the pillow 😂

Yes! My son will be afraid of random objects, like a specific puzzle piece in his puzzle or a certain toy. It’s funny how they have these little fears that come and go!

My son loves singing and glowing toys but also goes through phases where all of a sudden he’s terrified of his toys. No clue why this happens. He hasn’t played with his singing baby shark in the tub for 6 months 🙃

Lol it seems ridiculous to us but their brains aren’t fully developed so they see things differently. Just validate her feelings and reassure her you are there for her 🤷🏽‍♀️. My son was afraid of windshield wipers when they were on 😂, now he’s over it.

The pillow is a big, black aggressive-looking blob with arm-like appendages that can trap you! While it seems normal and harmless to us, I can understand why a toddler would have reservations about it (even though it seems silly to us).
My LO was afraid of a show we were watching last night about a massive art fraud case. It had black and white pictures of the artists and somewhat ominous music playing, so she was scared... of a show about paintings. I just told her I understood why she was afraid, but that nothing bad would happen, and offered to hold her until the part she thought was scary was over. 🤷🏻‍♀️
