Anyone else interested in vanlife/ living in an rv??? I want to do it but im still not sure.

Theres been a lot of discourse around it about the safety but I know all the safety precautions and things I need to get. Ultimately an rv would be cheaper for me to live in because I really need to get out of my toxic and homophobic household. Im 16 so Im saving up now with my job, but I need to make a choice very soon. Also having an rv would help me because I want to make music and go on tour so that would be my transportation. If anyone has any advice or information that would be very helpful!!💗💗

My cousin does it with her two dogs. She‘a a seasonal employee for the state park system. Some days she loves the lifestyle and other days she wishes for more stability. I tell her I’m jealous of her freedom and adventure. She tells me she’s jealous of my family, house, and benefits package. Grass is always greener.

I would keep in mind that social media only captures the peak highlights if someone’s life or lifestyle

I think it depends on where you park your van and the kind of seasonal work you plan on doing. I don’t think van life is all it’s cracked up to be. I think a lot of social media influencers make it look fun and amazing, but I’ve also heard it’s terrible. Plus I live in a big metropolitan area and we have plenty of people who come here to van life and then just end up homeless. 
That being said, owning an RV and parking in an RV park is completely different than van life.
