Wtf IS satan?

Question

I have recently converted to Christianity but there's still some things I NEED to understand because that's how I work. 
The last time I posted someone thought I was satire or something but believe me when I tell you I'm on life's journey of trying to find out what I REALLY believe in and my heart wants to follow this religion but I NEED THINGS TO MAKE SENSE. 
Angels are.. angels are not in human forms, they're not powerful, well they are.. just not ALL powerful. they're like.. spirits if anything. From what I've read, I'm modern terms they aint shit. They aren't valuable, or AS valuable as humans are. 
Then can someone please explain how one of them lead an entire rebellion against god and created HELL and is now deemed PRINCE OF EARTH 
It all feels chaotic af to me. It makes me question shit. If he is all powerful, and all knowing, why did he let this happen? Free will? Does free will also apply to his angels? I'm just so confused and it makes me so angry because there's only so much you can read and I know when I ask these questions it just PISSES people off

I’d search where all this is in scripture and pray to ask Holy Spirit to reveal it to you. 
Angels are strong and powerful but still a creation and not more powerful than God since God created them. 
God created hell. It’s for satan and his followers. If people choose to follow satan that’s where they go. (This is why God has always given humans a way to be redeemed and follow Him instead of satan). 
God actually gave humans dominion and ruling over the earth with Adam and Eve (in Genesis). When Adam and even chose to sin they unknowingly gave satan dominion over earth. Jesus is the ultimate Prince and King of us though because of what He did. It’s an exchange of rights like a legal thing. 
Satan is not and never has been and never will be more powerful than God, or all knowing or all powerful. Angels had a season of free will also which is where satan decided to go against God and bring any other angels down that he could.
All of this is in lots of various places in scripture. Remember when you become a Christian you a saved by Jesus’ death/blood and resurrection. Now that your spirit is cleansed God sends Holy Spirit to live inside you and guide you and teach you (John 16:7 and surrounding verses, Romans 8). God answers every question and so should we (1 Peter 3:15). Don’t shy away from asking questions but do remember this: God gives you the best and most clear and accurate answers. I deleted my previous comment because I came off as rude and that was not my intention so I’m sorry! 
Firstly a lot of these answers come in time as you grow closer to God. It can be confusing and doesn’t always make sense in our human logic. 
So angels are vital to the kingdom of God- they are created beings. They each have a role and a job. There are different levels and different kinds of angels. Watchers, arch angels, serephim, cherubim, hosts, and the list goes on. We have guardian angels for example that watch over us and help us spiritually. They have free will like we do but they see the very face of God and the ones remaining in Heaven only want to serve and honor God by doing only His will. 
So Satan was an arch angel and he was the most beautiful angel. He was jealous and wanted God’s glory. He somehow convinced 1/3 of all the angels that he was better than God and they all rebelled. God created Hell for Satan and his demons and cast them out of heaven and onto earth. 
Now, Satan lost his authority when he fell but not his power because power is a gift from
God and all gifts from God are irrevocable. However power can’t do much without authority. So satan tricked Adam and Eve in the garden to willfully sin against God which gave satan Adams authority and dominion over all the earth. Fast forward to Jesus. Jesus’ sacrifice and atonement for all the sins of the earth past, present and future took the authority over the earth and gave it back to the children of God. So now satan only has power and authority over us if we willfully sin against God- and even then, it’s not like ‘oh I made a mistake’ - it’s ‘I like this mistake and I refuse to repent and will continue to sin this way’ 
When you become a Christian, the Holy Spirit lives within you- a part of God shines within you and God is the all powerful one. 
I know it can be confusing but keep seeking God, keep asking questions and read your Bible girl. All the answers are there!

To me Satan is a symbol of rebellion, seeking knowledge, and standing up for your beliefs. 
Satan is not real, but is a character in a poorly written book. If you were to list out all the things both god and Satan did in the bible, you may be surprised at which one is the actual villain. 
I think people use Satan as a way to deflect and avoid taking accountability for their actions, while also scaring people into acting a certain way. It's blatant manipulation, done on a massive scale.

Well, I grew up as a Jehovah witness. Yes God gives angels free will. Satan decided to betray him because he wanted to be God, he was jealous of him. He wanted the power. 
I’m going to be honest here. The only religion that has ever ever ever answered all my questions is the Jw.

I was raised a southern baptist. And to be completely honest, Christianity just doesn’t make since. When you ask questions, you’re really not given real answers. You’ll just be told something to guilt you into believing or simply be told to “have faith”. Blind faith. They don’t like it when people ask logical questions. And that’s a lot of the reason why people like myself stop believing.
