Relationship Help.

So, my boyfriend is a grade below me and that makes planning things a bit difficult. He wants to go to college with me, but I told him I decided on a new college than the one we discussed looking into. My job is right across the street from the college and we can get an apartment together on campus (because he'll be required to live on campus since he'll be a freshman). I thought it was a great plan and he'd be overly excited, but he doesn't seem enthused at all. What should I do? (I've brought it up before, but nothing gets resolved).
