Brown and pink discharge after iui?

Question

So the day after I had my iui, when I wiped I could see light pink and had severe cramping. 2dpiui, no cramps, but I have light brown thick and creamy discharge and I am extremely tired. Is the colored discharge normal right after tge iui, or is it a bad sign?
I called my nurse, and she said it could be implantation bleeding, but I feel like it's way too early for that...
Please help.

I had the same thing after a couple of my IUIs. My doctor told me I might bc the catheter scrapped me when he was inserting it.

It's way too early for implantation bleeding, I don't know why the nurse would tell you that. I do know it's normal to have a bit of spotting soon after your IUI, due to the speculum or the catheter insertion. Same thing with Pap smears. Don't stress and fingers crossed for a BFP for Xmas :)

Maybe they just irritated the cervix or uterus a bit with the catheter. I've started spotting 7dpiui and spotted all the way until like 16-17dpiui and still got a BFP
