I don't know what to think anymore...

This is the third time my hubby comes home late and lies about it. He'll says he's working or cashing his check or whatever and it always turns out he's lying and is actually drinking with his friends. I don't know what to think anymore, why would he lie about it? How can I tell him to stop doing this whole lying about where I am or doing? I've tried talking to him but it doesn't work.... What would you think about this if it was your so? Please help.
