I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant with our second boy and I don’t know if it’s pregnancy hormones or the realization that I’m going to be a mommy of two children but I find myself falling even in more love with our 3 year old son.

Literally as I started writing this he walked in on me as I’m going potty and goes “Hi, Daddy’s eating the popporn (popcorn 🤣). But on top of all of that he is seriously just so sweet and gentle, and does these little acts that just always make my heart explode with how full it feels. Has anyone else gone through this? I know I’m not crazy but just tonight I kept rubbing his sweet face and he just grabs my hand and kisses it 🥺

And I know it’s easy for someone to say “well yeah you’re gonna feel this way because it’s your kid, you love them endlessly” which of course is true, we all as mothers look at our children like they’re the best human in the world. But even comparing him to my nephew who is 4 years older, my nephew is all boy and can get mean real quick and my son will honestly just stare at him confused like “what’s wrong with you bro?” 🤣 and continue to be so sweet. Every morning before I get out of the car to go to work he’ll say “I want kiss momma” and I just just want to call my boss and say “yeah I’m definitely not coming in cause my child is too cute for me to miss a moment” 🤣😭🥺 I could keep typing all the little things he does and I’m sure being his momma I notice them more than anyone but it makes me so excited and scared at the same time I’m gonna have another boy to enjoy these little moments with but also makes my heart ache to think I won’t have my full attention for just our one first son anymore. Anyways this completes my sappy rant and hope all you mommas make sure to enjoy these little moments because I know we take them for granted and soon they’ll be grown up which I don’t even want to think about but it’s nice to actually slow down sometimes and really just stare at him, or sniff his head or kiss his soft cheek. I’m just one proud momma recently….yeah it’s definitely these damn pregnancy hormones
