Mammas I need some advice to know if I am over reacting. Everyone has their own parenting style and I accept and pass no judgment on anyone. I don't believe in tapping my child's hand or bum or anything to discipline them... and this probably comes from my experience as a child. I went to pick up my 2 year old son at daycare today and saw his teacher get upset at another child because she just changed his diaper and he pooped in the new one and she tapped him. It was not severe at all not violent... It was just the fact that she did it. I froze and just got so emotional, if I had seen her do that to my son I think I would have flipped out. It's one thing if it's t he parent and that's how you choose to discipline you children... but the daycare teacher? Is this normal? I think everything is meant to be because I actually have a meeting with another daycare tomorrow but I just want to know if this is the norm?
