Breastmilk storage question…

I have frozen breast milk in my side by side freezer, how long will it last in there? And I let my freshly pumped milk sit in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days before freezing it. Is that too long to wait? Should I be freezing it sooner? Advice please - Should I pitch it?
