Kimchi during Breastfeeding?

Would like to check if we are able to consume kimchi while breast feeding cause I heard before that fermented food are not ideal for the baby? 
Mine is vegetarian kimchi so there’s no onion/garlic!

Unless you or baby is allergic you don't have to avoid foods when breastfeeding.

Cabbage in there can cause baby to have upset stomack, gas etc. "can" doesn't mean it will. If your baby has gas and tummy problems after you ate kimchi and fed baby, then don't eat it, if there are no problems, then eat as much as you like.
For example, I can eat cabbage as muchs as I want, but if I eat apples, my son has gas. So I don't eat apples while breastfeeding.
Oh, and onion and garlic should also be no problem for a breastfed baby at all anyway.

It would still be vegetarian if there was onions and garlic in it..... I'm confused as to why you said that. But yes kimchi is fine. Just don't solely eat that for days in end.

Anything has the potential to upset their stomachs. You have to experiment and see what’s ok for them. My kid never had any issue with fermented foods.
Onion and garlic are vegetarian, so I’m not sure what your concern is there. Those are both fine for babies to have via breast milk.

I am vegan and eat lots of fermented foods. They’ve never caused my babe any trouble. If your babe isn’t having any tummy trouble, don’t sweat it. If your babe is experiencing a lot of gas then you could cut out the kimchi (or other “gassy” food, but just one at a time) and see if it makes a difference.
