Baby resisting boob & bottle - help!
Hey there Glow hive mind! I have a problem and I’m hoping someone has some ideas.
Long story short, due to lots of feeding challenges early on, I am more or less an exclusive pumper with a bit of formula for supplementation and one nursing session to start the day.
For the last few days my 3 month old is SO weird on the boob and the bottle. He eventually fills up but is just super distracted and a little fussy so feeding is taking ages. I’m a stay-at-home-parent right now so have the time so I’m not freaking out about it, per se, but it’s super weird and a bit worrisome.
I don’t think he’s having digestive trouble though I’ve been diligent about burps, belly massage and bicycle legs just in case. No spitting up or puking. No crazy poops.
I know it could be something I’m eating but I haven’t eaten anything new and I’m not on any new meds. The only new thing in my body is a new brand of electrolyte powder I’m taking to help with my supply (I am of course gonna cut it now that I’ve had this thought).
Anyone ever experience anything like this before? Is this because he just got through leap 3 and has all these new skills and is super distracted? 😂 I’m positively stumped! Please help!
