Did the birth ball help induce you ??

Question

Anyone use a birth ball to induce??? 
Today I’ve gotten a break from contractions, had maybe one this morning. But i got on my ball and started gently bouncing and rolling my hips and now having regular contractions while on it. 
I had prodromal labor for a week and did miles circuit last night to help baby get in position. Today felt the best I’ve felt all week.

Around my due date I started using a ball, eating lots of dates, hand expressing and pumping. The night I went into labour I bounced on the ball and pumped a lot. I think it probably helped but I was also doing alot of other things to help get labour started.

My last pregnancy I started the ball around 35 weeks starting losing my mucus plug at 36 weeks had baby at 37 weeks

Ummm I used one during my induction with my first snd it did not help at all. But I wasn’t using one in the weeks before. I’m almost 36 weeks snd just ordered one so hoping using for a few weeks before will be helpful!

Hasn’t started me off yet and been on it a good few weeks (I’m 39+2) but when I do go on the ball I can feel him very very low in my pelvis and get more pains, mainly like lightening crotch..whether it’s doing anything to my cervix is unknown. I get regular tightenings and not sure whether it makes them worse or better, only time will tell 🤷🏼‍♀️
