Stubborn Toddler
My LO seems to be having moments where she wants me to get her out of a chair, trampoline, or bed where she can do it all on her own and carry her. I refuse at times and encourage her to do it herself. She gets a full blown tantrum. Stays at the spot Screaming and crying. I eventually ignore her, leave the room and come back. Which makes her angrier. This can go on for 30 minutes. Until she calms down a bit and tell her to come down and give cuddles. She does it without a problem. Then she acknowledges how she wouldn’t leave the spot and how angry she was. I get this is a power struggle because she doesn’t do it with her father. However, I’d like to know if there are any tips to diffuse the situation faster? She gets hoarse from all the tantrums
