I just had my daughter 4 days ago. In the hospital she would sleep in the bassinet but I think it may have just been her being so tired from birth it didn’t matter what she slept in. But now as she’s more awake and less tired from the experience, she WILL NOT sleep in her bassinet. I’m all for safe sleep so obviously this is where she needs to be, but I am getting no sleep unless my husband holds her for the hours I nap. She only wants to be held and I understand it’s because we’re warm and cozy but how can I help transition her to where the bassinet isn’t a instant meltdown. I’ve tried different swaddles and even warming the bassinet with a heating pad before laying her down. What should I do 😭
