Seeking a Trauma-Informed OBGYN or Midwife

Hi all!

I am currently ttc and looking for recommendations for a new OBGYN or Midwife. I was seeing a provider at Northwestern that I loved, but she isn’t an OB. I’ve met with a few of the folks she recommended, but so far 2 of the 3 I met with were NOT going to be a good fit (alarmist, not really listening to me, etc).

Finding a provider with a collaborative bedside manor who is trauma-informed, inclusive, supportive of natural fertility and at least open to low intervention L&D, and won’t immediately rush to assisted reproduction or infertility alarm bells would be helpful. I am 35y.o. and this is my 3rd cycle ttc since removing my Mirena IUD at the end of June.
