I have something very important coming up and I have to stop breastfeeding unfortunately. What can I do that’s the fastest way to stop breastfeeding? Besides weaning off little by little… is there any other way? Thank you in advance!

Cold turkey. It’s not easy but it’s quick. Stay firm and strong. They will learn not to ask fir anymore.

My friend put a huge cotton gauze and bandaids covering her nipples and told her daughter she had hurt her nipples. Every time her daughter tried to nurse she’d see the bandaids and just talk about the “ouchie”. After a week or two she stopped looking to nurse.
