Moving In With Boyfriend?

When did you move in with your boyfriend or significant other? How long were you dating? And when did you know it was right?

Honestly I wouldn’t move in with a guy unless I was planning on marriage, like wedding planning  was currently happening. Many will disagree, but it lowers the likelyhood of separation snd having to move out etc

I think me and my husband ended up moving in together at 2/3 months of dating, he got a job opportunity in another town but didn’t wanna move without me so, we moved out together(my first time leaving my moms) and 2yrs later got married, and we are about to hit our 2yr wedding anniversary. Together for 4, almost 5 years
I think moving in together was good for us, we had a lot of challenges but we overcame then and learned how each other was before committing to marriage. I truly think it’s a good idea to live with your SO before marriage. You really learn who someone is when you share the same space as them 24/7. Forever grateful we took that step

5 months and in our 30s. Would have waited longer, but 3 months in he asked me to move across the country with him 7 months later, so I hurried up and moved in so that I could make sure he was the one! 😂

I guess it just happens. My first boyfriend and I moved in together after 2 months of dating or so and we lived together for 3 years. 
I have someone else in my life now, and we love each other very much; but it has been around 7 months and we are still living apart and it works well for us. ✨ I guess it is different for every couple. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It will just naturally happen when you both feel ready.

The first time we’d been together like 6 months, and we didn’t do it on purpose. He was driving me back and forth to work so him staying over made sense, then he got a job only a few minutes from my place so it kinda just happened. Neither of us were ready for it and we were going through a rough patch before, so things went south which actually resulted in us taking a break. It happened again a few months later, again unintentionally. I was working overnights at a gas station and we both felt more comfortable with him being at my place in case anything happened because it was minutes from my job. At this point we were still working on fixing what caused our break. I moved in with my aunts for a few months and then got my own place. Covid hit and I was in complete isolation because his mom wouldn’t let him come visit (understandably). He snuck out one night to see me and we explained to her that i wasn’t in a good place mentally because of being all alone, so she was a little more lenient and let him come. Number started to go back up and she told him he had to chose, staying with me or staying home but he couldn’t do the back and forth. He’s been living with me for over a year and we’re looking to get a new place together when my lease is up. We’re in a much better place and doing so much better. We rushed into things unintentionally when we weren’t ready and we paid the price. We finally got it together and are doing great.

We moved in after like a month of dating. It wasn’t exactly planned it just happened & worked out best for us. It’s been amazing. It took lots of adjusting & some compromises but it can work. ☺️
