Concerns with short staffing for labor?
Am I the only one that’s concerned about the hospital being short staffed due to covid? My baby is due in November and people have already been posting pictures of ALL of the shoes from people that have quit at my hospital. The mandate is to get it by Dec. 1st and I’m already seeing this. This is the hospital where EVERYONE goes. My hubby thinks we should go to the small hospital in our hometown that only has 6 labor rooms and 3 with bathtubs. The bathtub as been a concern of mine lol. I have a friend who works there and I asked her thoughts. She basically said here your care would be more personal and there you’re listed as a number. She works with people that work at both hospitals but I’m concerned with going to such a small hospital that if something goes wrong they would end up sending us to the big one that everyone goes to cause they’re more equipped and have the best NICU around. Thoughts???
