Low fetal fraction % at 12 weeks?!

Hi everyone! I have a question. I got my NIPT results back this morning through Natera.. at exactly 1 week after the blood draw. Anyway, everything came back low risk and the baby is a girl which I am happy about because that’s what the SneakPeek results said as well. The only thing concerning was the fetal fraction % which was 3.5%. Shouldn’t it be higher at 12 weeks? I do have a higher BMI but nothing crazy.. what I’ll say is I am under 200 pounds. The nurse who called me from my doctors office to give me the results didn’t seem concerned but when I asked her about it she said she wasn’t familiar with what that meant. Automatically, my mind has gone to the worst because I thought for sure it would be 10%+ I’m just posting here to see what everyone else thinks.. would you be concerned if you were me? Is 3.5% even enough to accurately perform the test?

i am 39 years old, BMI of 36, height 5'5", weight 220 lbs. my number was 5.7%. my blood was drawn at 10w5d. My doc said it was amount of the fetal blood that was in yours. it is different with every woman and every pregnancy. but there is a range of what's accepted. i don't know what that range is but here is a screenshot of the search results i found

I’m definitely not a pro. I just got mine back Friday and asked my NP about it . Because I literally had no idea what it meant. Anyway I guess your age, height/weight can really lower your percentage. I’d assume if the lab didn’t think they got enough to run the test they would have you do another blood draw and redo it.

That fraction is just the blood that represents your baby . It’s fine don’t get worried
