Baby shower for number 2?

I live in the UK and baby showers are fairly  new over here/ I had one for my first - nearly 4 years ago is it acceptable to have one for #2? Xx

I say it's up to the individual. My husband's cousin has 3 girls...few years age gap between the first 2 but not between 2 and 3. She had a shower for all three girls though. I see a shower as a celebration of the baby so why not have it for your 2nd.

If it's been more than 3 years since your last babe and/or it's a different sex, do a full on baby shower. If not, do a sprinkle (no registry).

Depends on if it's the same gender. If it is the. Do a diaper party but if it's different do the shower

I had one for both of mine but my second was s mini shower and bday party for myself. My friends mom is throwing me one for this one #3! I wasn't going to have one but its 2015 everything's changing!!!

Where I live, it is. (US) I have a 15 month old, he will be 20months when the baby comes. I told the people who are throwing the shower for me not to do a actual shower (but maybe like a diaper party) if it's another boy.. If it's a girl they are doing a full on shower. If I spaced out my pregnancies further apart, I'd probably wouldn't mind a full baby shower. But because they are so close I wouldnt feel right.
