diabetes??

so i have been diagnosed with pcos even though the way they told me about it was super unprofessional so i’m not sure if i actually do. but because of this “diagnosis” i went in for a blood sugar test where you drink that super sugary drink and get your blood drawn. i did this at the beginning of this year 2021. when they gave me back my results i had a little bit of an elevated blood sugar but wasn’t even in the prediabetic category. but lately i have been feeling very tired with headaches and such. not thirsty or peeing that much, but i am worried it’s type 2. can you develop type 2 diabetes within a year?? i don’t exercise regularly and don’t eat bad but not great either. i am overweight for my age and height though. mainly because i am very muscular but also have some chub on me. but it hasn’t even been a year since i got that test but my anxiety has me all sorts of freaked out. should i go get another test done or do i need to calm down? haha.
