Would you allow your parents to kiss your LOs on the lips?

Question

So I know with covid it’s really not a good idea to let anyone kiss your child.
This is my 2nd and my mom can be very affectionate with her grandkids.. I’ve made it clear that I don’t want her kissing my 1 yr old son on the lips… I don’t mind the cheek but even with that she can go a little over board…
My reasoning isn’t even because of covid, I just personally don’t agree with grandparents doing that. 
She’s the type to do whatever she wants though and will roll her eyes at it, therefore I never leave the room when she visits. 
With my niece and nephew though I’ve seen her kiss them both on the lips and they’re older about 4 and 5.
Just want to know if I’m being ridiculous or other people agree?

I don’t even kiss my own kid on the lips. Covid, flu, cold sores, RSV the common cold can all be life threatening to an infant/ young child.

The only time I’ve kissed my girl on the lips is because she goes for it, I’m thinking cuz she sees me kissing daddy so she thinks it’s normal. But either way I always avoid it and ask her to kiss my cheek… but I think with parents it just happens especially when they are little. 
For me personally grandparents and anybody else is a hard NO. 
This world is so messed up that since a young age we have to teach our kids what’s appropriate behavior and what limits should not be crossed, even with close family members.

Babies? No way! But my 4 yo went through a mouth kissing phase around age 2-3 and I didn’t care. She also still kisses us on the mouth but no one else.

My stepmom is a nurse and she has always made a huge deal about people not kissing babies. She gives “neck sugar” (we are in the south lol) and will only kiss/tickle the back of the neck. I remember kissing my parents and grandparents on the lips and honestly i feel weird about it now. I just do cheek/forehead kisses with my girls.

I always kiss my baby on the forehead or cheek. Now sometimes I go to kiss his cheek and he turns his head and there’s his lips but it’s in no way intentional lol

Agree, I don’t even kiss my daughter on the lips, when my baby is born I will ask family to wear masks when holding baby
