Hi everyone! So I’m taking a “trial of jesus” class in law school and my professor keeps talking about how Jesus’s teachings were “all Jewish all the time” because He said something along the lines of “even if you forsake me, keep my commandments” - which follows the Jewish teachings of actions being more important than faith. Does anyone know any quotes- specifically from the Torah where Jesus discusses the importance of faith? (It doesn’t have to be specifically Jesus- just anywhere in the Torah which discusses faith). I want to bring it up as a counter argument as my professor is Jewish and only argues from the Jewish perspective and usually disregards the Bible (unfortunate - I know).
