Yeast infection?

Hi! Just need some opinions. I think I might have a yeast infection. I’m only uncertain because it feels different than others that I’ve had. I’m just wondering if I do a Monistat could it cause any harm if I don’t have a yeast infection? Also which monistat should I take? Like how many days. I’m unable to go to a doctor or anything because I don’t have insurance and they’re all expensive where I live so I would like to try monistat I just don’t want to make it worse.

Also it wouldn’t be like an std or anything, I’ve been with the same person and he’s been with only me for a long time.
