Hates being in his car seat

My almost 11 week old baby hates the car and car seat so much he screams the moment I put him in until I take him out. My hubby and will go to church together which is a 40 min drive, I sit in back and he still just screams the whole time. He's lost his voice from crying and we've had a few times where we pulled over and took him out for a min. Any one else with the same problem? Or anyone have any solutions. I can't stand it bc I feel like I can't have l leave the house I don't want to make him cry like that but there's nothing I can do about it.
