10 month old with fever and ear infection.

Hi everyone !

My 10 month old baby have had about 4 ear infections with fevers this summer and been to the ER each time. They've learned that the amoxicillin is not strong enough so they give him a shot with a stronger dose of antibiotics(i forgot the exact name). The last time he took it, the infection was gone within 2 days. Now today I was in the ER all day because he had an 103 fever. To find out his left ear is infected again. So they gave him the shot and Motrin to bring the fever down. It went down to 100 but now it's back up to 103. Have anyone experienced this? This my second child and I never had to deal with so many ER visits for a ear infection.
