First child misbehaving because I’m pregnant??

Question

I always thought it was a myth, that your firstborn misbehaves when you’re pregnant with your second but I’m starting to believe it? I’m just not sure why my 4 year old is crying and whining so much and yelling at me throwing tantrums when she didn’t do that before. Even her teachers say she’s been “very emotional” lately and they don’t know I’m pregnant yet. 😓

My 5 year old has been misbehaving so much lately! He has his moments of not wanting to listen but it’s been so much worse lately. We recently found out I’m pregnant and I did tell our son because he can get pretty wild and I didn’t want him to jump on me or run into my belly when racing around. He hasn’t been to school since he found out about baby due to Covid quarantine but I’m hoping he will be fine. My husband also just left on the 1st for a deployment after just getting home a few months ago from a long deployment so there’s a lot of things going on. I’m trying my hardest to be patient and understanding but I’m exhausted!

We are currently going through this. Baby #2 due in one month and toddler is 23 months... so for us might be a perfect combination of life changes and terrible 2s. But I feel you!
