"This birth was not like my other two. I started having mild contractions Sunday October 4th they were mild and stopped later that night. They started up again on Monday and also stopped. I had a bit of a bloody show so I knew labor was close, I had contractions on and off all day. I started having bowel movements pretty realgar, which was not normal due to always being constipated through out this pregnancy. On Tuesday the contractions continued, but we're very irregular. On Wednesday they picked up, and got stronger. My contractions never got regular, I would have a couple that had a pattern, but then I'd have huge gaps sometimes 15, 30, and even a couple of hours. I didn't think I was in active labor, due to no pattern. I continued with my day, I worked until 5 because I was due to be induced the following day. When I got off work I stopped to get gas and that is when I had a few that were in the 4 to 7 minutes apart. I called my husband to find out where he was and suddenly they were 3 to 5 minutes and but would still stop or I would have gaps in-between. I proceeded to try to drive home and I had to turn around. I was in so much pain I couldn't sit still. I got to the hospital about 6 pm. And the contractions finally formed a pattern at 2 minutes apart. When I got up to L and Dimy cervix was checked. I was dilated to 8cm already, the pain was horrible. Jerry still wasn't here, and the poor nurses were all trying to get everything ready. I had 5 nurses in my room hooking me up to IVs and drawing blood. They were in the process of trying to get me an epidural. Calling my OB, so he can come deliver. I was checked again and I was at a 9. Boo got here shortly after and broke my water, it wasn't a minute later that they were getting my feet in the sturupps to get ready to push. One leg was up the other on its way up and she shot out. My body literally pushed her out by itself, my OB was not ready the nurse caught her mid air. She was born naturally with no pain meds."
