Head down?

Question

So how do you know when baby is head down? I’m 33 weeks and at my last appointment she said he was to small to feel just yet. But I feel a round hard lump on either side of rib cage. I feel small little movements on my right hip bone (so it feels). I’m just paranoid he isn’t head down  and that round hard lump isn’t his butt, but his head. I wish I could know because if he was breach I would do what I can to get him turned now before it’s to late.

My doctor and the midwife were able to feel head versus bottom from 28w and have been spot on.

Doctor should be able to tell you but I was breeched last baby and there was more movement at the bottom of my stomach & I could feel her head in my ribs everyday. Definitely a different feeling having a head down baby

My baby is breech and the way you describe your baby's position is how I feel my baby! Not trying to scare ya. I'm also 33 weeks. Almost 34. When you feel kicking do you feel it in your lower belly? That's where I feel baby for the most part

Your midwife should easily be able to tell at this stage.
My husband and I are expecting our second and all the way through our baby was head down and then around 30 ish weeks ( can't remember exactly ) our baby has been breech. Still is at 35 weeks. Head and body very high up. Makes me easily out of breath. With our first our baby was head down the whole way until birth.
We had a C-section with our first and will again with our second so for us I don't think it's too worrisome for our baby to be breech but can't wait for our baby to drop a bit!.
Anyways your midwife or obgyn or whoever is caring for you should have no problems at this stage just by feeling. I would ask them to check again.
Our actual baby doctor still said our baby may turn at 35 weeks but today we are 36+1 so not sure as we have our next appointment at 37+3.

I’m 33 weeks and my doctor could feel at my appt this week. If you are feeling kicks up top then they are likely head down.

My baby is head down (I have GD- so have regular scans) I can feel his back in the middle of my belly either side of my belly button when he moves, his legs one side under my ribs and usually a smaller movement one side lower down. His movements now are really uncomfortable and sometimes stop me in my tracks.

Head down?
