How long after your missed period should you wait to take a test? I took one a few days ago n it was negitive.

I took a digital test 1 day late and it was negative. Took an frer 3 days late, and it was positive. Took another one 5 days late and it was darker. Took one yesterday cause I really don't feel pregnant, and it was even darker.
