Cyst in boob

I’ve had this “thing” in my boob for awhile and now it’s starting to kinda bother me or hurt. Last time I went to the doctor and they did the breast examine I told her and she said she didn’t feel anything. But I feel like she was really just rushing because when I told her she goes “I’m about to feel over there”…. it was more so like she was just touching me to say she did it. Anyway I’m almost certain it’s a cyst I let my best friend feel it and she definitely felt something there so I know my doctor was just not taking me seriously. Has anyone here had a cyst in their boob before? How do they get rid of it and how do they determine it’s actually a cyst?
