I live in the UK and can’t get the free hours till my son is 3 and it’s too expensive to pay for the days I’ll be sending him once he gets the hours. We have been viewing nurseries as I’m due a second baby in April and was planning to send him in March to settle him in beforehand.

He has been going into nurseries for visits so well and loved it. My son is full of confidence and energy and although he needs to really work on sharing he enjoys interacting with other children.

I feel nursery will benefit him but worried sending him for just one session will be hard for him to settle in if he doesn’t enjoy it as much as I’m hoping.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Good or bad idea? Thank you!
