Pumping at 34 weeks?
My OB has given me the ok to start pumping now at 34 weeks because I have been producing colostrum for multiple weeks now and she said there is no point in “wasting” any.
Has anyone else been given the go ahead that early? The midwife I saw for my prior appointment said hand expression only until at least 38 weeks and warned that pumping earlier could cause preterm labor?
