5 weeks. Spotting... Still. Did anyone else experience this?

I started spotting brown. That was last Friday. I took a test on Saturday and it came back positive. I went to a nurse that Monday to set up my qppt w an ob. I mentioned that I was spotting and they said to only worry about it if it fills a panty liner. A couple days passed and I passed a blood clot. I freaked out and went to the er. The tested hcg and it was normal for pregnancy, only a little low. They told me to come back two days later to test hcg again and it'd doubled by then. The next day, I start getting brick red bleeding. It's not filling a panty liner but I get a lot when I go to the bathroom and I've seen clots. I can go to the clinic tomorrow for another test. But they already had me coming back Friday to test and try an ultra sound. Should I go to the clinic tomorrow? I know this isn't completely normal, but I'm not really cramping too bad and it isn't filling a liner. Idk if anyone else has experienced this and I don't wanna keep going to the er outside of when they said I should go. I'm really nervous and keep getting discouraged.
