Hi Everyone! First time posting here. So I was referred to a fertility specialist because my progesterone was at a less than 0.02. Not happy with current fertility specialist so switching. When I asked my fertility specialist to get started on progesterone as well as why they didn’t test my progesterone levels when they did all of the other necessary lab work her response was that it was part of the normal protocol to provide a progesterone prescription anyways so what’s the point. Since I’m paying out of pocket for all of this it is a big point to me .. They also told me that progesterone varies too much to officially diagnose it. However, what initially got me into labs was because I was having all the symptoms of hypothyroidism… I was t gaining weight but couldn’t lose it, losing hair, always cold . Based on research and talking to some other professionals I know; low Progesterone mimics hypothyroid… so what I am asking Is has anyone officially been diagnosed with low Progesterone?? If so , success in getting pregnant? I’m 34 and we haven’t been successful yet. Just miscarriages.
