I ended up stopping work earlier than I had planned because the pain was getting to be too much. And now I haven't reached the minimum requirements for hours worked to get approved for maternity leave. So I will be doing an unpaid leave of absence for the next 11 weeks. Pretending I'm not stressing out but knowing that living on one income with holidays coming and still needing to get a few baby things is very overwhelming. Hoping for the best. My boyfriend will qualify for paid paternity leave but I'm used to being able to work and pay my bills so relying on him solely is really making me feel terrible even though he just says " I don't work for me, I work for us" thank goodness I have him. We are almost there!
