Bloody poop?

First, sorry for the gross pictures 🙈
I just changed my 5 mo’s diaper and saw blood 😩 I’m thinking it’s from trying to push it out but I really don’t know. Thoughts?? 
His next check up isn’t for 2 more weeks. Is it worth calling his doc?

Oh my goodness poor baby, was it really hard?!? Nothing red or brown tried recently? My babe had a really hard poo a couple weeks ago and it made his little butt bleed but not any where like that.. I would call and let them know.  How is it healing? I wouldn’t put diaper cream on it I would use like baby aquaphor or just regular aquaphor

If you’re sure it’s blood and not just from his solids (red beets?) then Id call your dr to be safe because blood is concerning. Hopefully everything is okay!

My daughter gets the occasionally if the poop is really hard. My doctor suggested giving her water and that seems to help if she is constipated. However, I would still call just to be safe.

Looks like he might have a bad rash too. Try changing him more often and using diaper cream. Poor baby!

Could be a good allergy. What is he eating 2-4 hours before that kind of diaper. My lo gets bloody stools if I eat something he’s allergic to.
