Burning in Uterus

So I have PCOS. My boyfriend and I have been trying for a baby for almost 4 months. But I don't have regular periods. I haven't have a period since July and I spotted a week in August. Today I experienced cramping and a burning sensation in my uterus. What could this be? Should I be concerned?
